Next station: 百里香

Along to the olympian City,i found a special restaurant in Fu Wing Garden called “百里香香草料理餐廳”. The selling point of this restaurant is that you can choose your own choices of sauce and food item.Or you can buy some sauces you like from the restaurant.There is not only rice but also noodles you can choose.

Here is the facade of the restaurant.

You can mix and match your own choices according to the menu.

You can buy those sauce if you like.

I ‘ve ordered 3 different mix and match with my 3 groupmates in our lunch.The 3 different matches have their selling point. Here I highly recommend you guys to order the potato sauce or shrimp sauce.

In my opinion, the quality of the meals is so far so good, sometimes it’s ok while sometimes it’s not ok enough. However, one thing i can mention that the rice in there is a bit special,it’s called “黃薑飯”.The rice is a bit turning to yellow colour. You should try it! Apart from this, the beverage in there is unusual,too. Both iced lemon tea and lemon water are prepared without any lemon inside. It’s amazing me that it’s quite tasty.

Besides, as we all know, the price range of the olympian city area is around $35~$45.You can see in the menu above ,“百里香” is around $37~$40. Luckily, student can get an discount for only $32 to have a set of lunch. It's a good choice if you are the one of the students on that place :)

 

Tip: 
1.The area of “百里香” is limited. There is a bit crowd during peak hour.For the lunch peak hour, there are many students around this area. You may queue for at least 5 mins to 15mins around 1o’clock. If you don’t want to be so crowd,i suggest you go to another restaurant as well.

2.If you don't want a lot rice, you can tell them having a small amount.Remember don't waste food.

Start from Olympic!

Hello all! This is a blog which we will introduce tons of delicious, traditional and unique cuisine in Hong Kong! Since we are the student from SPEED, we will start from this location, searching for great meal and four of us will introduce different recommended restaurants to you. Olympic, here we go !

The cheapest price in most of the restaurant is $35 or above in Olympic (which is quite expensive for us T.T) , thats why we tend to search for something with reasonable price and quality and we found one inside the bus terminal ?.? Let's see.

They have the variety of dishes for you to choose! They can seriously serve you any kind of Chinese dishes with different cooking methods that you can think of! Though I got a problem with choosing one from the list of choices-.-

Eventually, i order satay beef with fried instant noodle. I can tell this is a two people portion, but it costs you $26 only! The sauce tastes a bit salty; however, when it matches with the green peppers and the noodles, it actually balances! This can be one of you choices in Olympic, but remember there were only few tables inside. Also as it is a traditional fast food restaurant, the physical environment won't be as clean as the resturant inside the shopping mall =P

> Go straight and turn left, get inside the bus terminal and move forward

> Then you will see the restaurant in the picture one ;]

> Sit down and decide for your meal!

Cantonese vocabulary this week: 

* "夠鑊氣! (Gao-wok-hey!) " -  which means it cooks with extremely HOT fire that makes the ingredient become more tasty ;]
