Chinese words in TAI HING, 太興

Tai Hing, is a famous restaurant in Hong Kong because they are good at porkling and they are also a modern restaurant in Hong Kong. 

Now, I would like to show you some '' can try '' items and '' strongly recommend'' item for all of you! Are you ready, here we GO ~~ !!! 

Let's look at the menu first 

 Tai Hing's menu. Unforuntanly, there're no English version~ =.=''

As you see the menu, there're two column of the price. The left hand side is the orginal price, and the right hand side is student price. See, it might be around HKD$10 cheaper than the orginal~

If you selected the meal, you can choose either the chinese style soup(老火湯) or coffee or tea. But, remember that, if you order a cold drink, the extra fee HKD$3 are needed. If you choose hot drink, no need to pay the extra fee.

So, let's go to the '' CAN TRY '' items ~~ :)



Roasted beef with black pepper source in rice (L3 坑燒黑椒牛扒配飯)

I think it was quite similar to the western style. For the beef, it's not too raw and not overcooked. So it's easy to cut! Quite yummy, I guess. (haha~) If you think the sources are not enough, you may ask the waiter for more source, they are willing to give you more. Then, the next item is ....



New Zealand beef in thin cut with swiss sources in flat rice noodles ( L30 紐西蘭牛柳絲瑞士汁濕炒)

When I saw this dish, it quite similar to the Beef in flat rice noodles in saute style (干炒牛河). The different is, it tastes a bit sweet and overall are in wet base on a bit oily. But it's good and special ~

 Now, let's introduce the '' STRONGLY RECOMMEND '' item !! 



Curry Beef tenderloin in rice (L5 濃香咖哩牛腩配白飯)

You may think, what's the different between Tai Hing's and other's curry rice. The main different is, Tai's curry have a bit coconut flavor and their beef are easy to chew. You know, some beef tenderloin in other's restaurant are hard to eat, because they are too ''hard''. But Tai's curry is isn't. So, if you visit Tai Hing, order this beef and you will know what I mean ~

Tai Hing's soup are hot enough, since one of my frined are get hurt of her tongue by this soup ~ (Oh dear ~ )

Colded milk tea (really cold ~~ )

As you see, Tai Hing's cold milk tea are really cold! The ice are around the cup. It's good because it will not affect the taste of milk tea while the ice are melting~ A special idea !! :)

Hong Kong famous snacks - Egg Tart

Hong Kong has a name of food paradise, because there are so many culture inside this city, like the chinese and western culture. That creat a lot of special food with different culture too, and egg tart is one of them!

The Dragon Ball Bakery

This time I would like to introduce a bakery with delicious and low price egg tart, Dragon Ball Bakery. The Dragon Ball Bakery has been opened for over 5 years in Yao Ma Tei. The shop provide fresh bread, cookies, cakes and egg tart to customers. There are two types of egg tart will provide, pie crust egg tart and puff pastry egg tart, and I prefer to try with the pie crust egg tart. Because nowadays, not so many bakery provide the pie crust egg tart, and in Dragon Ball Bakery it is only HKD$2.5 each! It is a really lower price than the maxim's or other bakeries. Also the bakery has a heater to keep the egg tart in hot before customers buy it.

Inside the bakery shop, there is a bake factory, and because of this factory, they can provide the freshest and hot bake product to their customers.
