Sup everyone, do u feel cold today? Due to the "La Niña" effect (please google it if you wanna know more ! ;] ), this year the world's winter will be a lot cooler than the previous. What kind of food will you think of during this freezing weather? A cup of hot chocolate? Or fresh waffles?
This time let me introduce some Hong Kong HOT stuff to you guys!!
The baked sweet potato & roasted chestnut!!
The oven is for baking the sweet potatoes, you can really feel the hot wind coming out when you stand in front of it and it makes me feel so warm ;]
The roasted chestnut use sugar and black sand, put it all in a big wok and keep firing it for 5 minutes. You can watch this by clicking the video below.
Ta-Da!! They are roasted chestnut and steam quails eggs with salt! It is a "heater" because when you hold this, they warm your hands and it is a good choice to enjoy them during the cold time!
Look at this, i bet this will become one of your favorite hot stuff and gosh you will miss it during winter!!
You can find those kiosks everywhere in Hong Kong (but this one is located under Mong Kok East MTR station and i recommend it!) , the smell from the oven and the hot wok will guide you the way to find them! ;]
