Traditional Food in HK (Part 1)

Hi everyone, as you see the title 'traditional food in HK', let's have a simple knowledge of food in Hong Kong early stage. So, don't waste time and let's GO !!

What I want to intriduce is a old fashion noodles restaurant - Ton Kee (通記魚旦粉麵)

When I look at hte menu, it stated that this restaurant had been opened since 1957
Since 1957, it had been here in 53 years ago. It's not a short year to establish a restaurant in Hong Kong.
This is one of the reason why I want to try it and introduce it. Let see the menu first ....

All are in chinese words and number. =.=''  I'm sorry for the foreign visitor, if you don't understand, I will recommend come with your friends who know chinese and guide you to order ~

Let's show the first famous dish : The Angle Fish with Flat rice noodles
魚角(又名:魚片頭)河

All the angle fish are home made and the texture are easy to chew up and also taste quite good. They cut the angle fish are so big, so don't worry about the size when compare to another restaurant~

Then, the nest dish is Beef sirloin with chinese noodles
 牛腩麵
Just look at the beef, you will know it's not too hard and it's great to add some spicy oil on it. But one remain, don't add too much unless you want to have ''a mouth of uncle McDonald''  :)

Finally, it will be quite scare for some visitor, because they don't think it can 'EAT'. However, in chinese people hands, they might think it quite good if eat with a beer or being a snacks.

Marinated Chicken Feet
鹵水鳳爪

When you look at the presentation, you won't know how it's tasted. But, if you try one, you will keep eating one by one until it finish. The soy sources are totally inside the feet and the sources is quite sweet.

Address:
